Banana Pepper Roast

Put a pot roast in your crock pot. Pour a jar of banana peppers over it (liquid and all). Use hot or mild, depending on your taste. Pour 2 packets of Au Jus mix over the top (found with the McCormick gravy/seasoning packets). Don't add water to the mix, use just the dry stuff. (I use Herbox beef boullion instead for lower-sodium.) Cook on low all day or high for shorter. If you want, take the meat out and slice it sometime before it's done so the flavor can get on more of the meat. You'll definately want to serve it with something that will sop up the juices (bread, mashed potatoes, etc.)!! Leftovers are great on sub rolls.
