1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons minced onions
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 cups milk
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese (or your favourite kind of cheese)
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
Directions
1. Spray crockpot with non-stick spray for easy cleaning.
2. In a saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients.
3. Pour in milk and stir with a whisk until no lumps remain.
4. Heat and continue stirring until mixture boils and is thickened.
5. Add cheese and then macaroni.
6. Stir until well mixed.
7. Pour into 3 1/2 quart (3. 5L) slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 2-2 1/2 hours or on high for 1 hour
This recipe was so good! The only suggestion we had was to double the recipe because it was gone in nothing flat, my dd ate about half the pot. IT was so yummy and we added more cheese and next time we might use Velveta. The cooking time was very SHORT and so if your crockpot cooks hot it might be done in about 1.5 hours to 2 hours, next time I will set mine to warm from the start. IT was given ***** stars out of 5 by the whole family!!
I have a friend who just threw it all in the crockpot and it worked fine too :)
