5-6lbs roast (rump but I used a cheaper cut I think last time)
2 pack au jus packs
2 cans of beef broth
2 env. Italian dressing mix
Place meat in crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over beef. Cook on low for six to eight hours.
Banana Pepper Roast
Pot roast
1 jar banana peppers (mild or hot)
2 packets au jus
Pour it all in the crock pot, including the juice from the peppers. Do not mix the au jus with water, just pour the powder on top.
Cook on low all day (or high for 4-6 hours if you have to), slicing the meat after it's partially cooked and returning to crock pot.
We make this after co-op where we have been gone all day. I am going to half the recipe this time. IT is very yummy!
